Belief to Trust
This sermon is a challenge to all believers. A challenge to believe what we claim to (and do) believe in such a way that it has a real impact on out lives, attitude, outlook and even our emotions. It is a call to have our "Beliefs" move into "Trust"...and all that that entails, to the glory of our Father!
Mark 11:23-24 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
John 2:23-25 23 Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in His name when they saw the signs which He did. 24 But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men, 25 and had no need that anyone should testify of man, for He knew what was in man.
Matthew 10:29 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will.
Ephesians 1:11 11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,
1 John 4:8-10 8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Psalms 56:3-4 Whenever I am afraid,
I will trust in You.
4 In God (I will praise His word),
In God I have put my trust;
I will not fear.
What can flesh do to me?
1 Timothy 5:5 5 Now she who is really a widow, and left alone, trusts in God and continues in supplications and prayers night and day.
James 2:5 5 Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?
