Populating the New Heavens and the New Earth
There is rich and deep meaning in the Church being described as the Body of Christ… implications for now and for the consummation of time! It is both a privilege and a responsibility to be a part of it.

Galatians 1:4 who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,
1 Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.
Hebrews 6:5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come.
Colossians 2:19 and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God.
Ephesians 4:9 (NIV) What does “he ascended” mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions?
Ephesians 4:9 (NLT) Notice that it says “he ascended.” This clearly means that Christ also descended to our lowly world.
Ephesians 4:9 (ESV) In saying, “He ascended,” what does it mean but that he had also descended into the lower regions, the earth?
